Here is a partial list of things that are not funny, for those humorists who find themselves confused:

Here is a partial list of things that are not funny, for those humorists who find themselves confused:
Rape scenes.
The idea that black people are uppity.
The idea that women are uppity.
The idea that anyone is uppity.
Homophobia, misogyny, racism, or the reinforcement of stereotype against any historically disadvantaged group. For instance, the keen observation that Asian drivers suck? Not funny.
Rape scenes where the victim is male.
Rape scenes where the victim is male and the rape is implied, such as "hur hur you'll get it in prison."
Fat people being fat.
Trans people being trans.
People *being* much of anything, as opposed to *doing* things.
No, seriously, rape scenes.
